Reflection IV

This meeting,
the presenters are Aris, Aci, Hamdy, Ima, And Aida”Kajol”.
Aris presented
about argumentative paragraph, the topic of his paragraph was women and the
topic sentence was women join military. The next presenter is aci. Aci’s
paragraph told about definition paragraph, there are no any interruptions,
because her paragraph was very clear that that’s definition paragraph. The
third presenter was hamdy rois. His paragraph was cause and effect paragraph.
In the first time, I thought that rois’ paragraph was exposition paragraph.
Because the paragraph just shows the effect, but finally I agree that it is
cause and effect paragraph, even the major point is the effect. Next, ima told
about a paragraph which she thought that that’s argumentative paragraph, but
after read the whole paragraph and understood the main idsea and the purpose of
the paragraph, miss vita and us agreed that ima’s paragraph is report
paragraph. Little bit difficult to indentify that paragraph but if we read the
paragraph carefully, we will know the purpose of the paragraph. And then, the
next presenter is aida dewi sukria. She told about cause and effect paragraph.
In this case, aida’s paragraph is same with hamdy’s paragraph. The effect stronger
than the cause point but I thought that’s good paragraph. The last presenter is
aida part 2 (mufrotul faida). She had illustration paragraph. Her paragraph
told about Craigh Jones. Illustrate relationship between the writer and Craig
jones. Craig Jones is the true friend of the writer.
When workshop, I
analyzed aida’s paragraph. She told about the classification of reason why
village like city.
Reflection V
In this meeting,
there are two presenters. Lilies presented about two paragraph. The first
paragraph was classification paragraph and the second paragraph was process
analysis paragraph about scanning. The last presenters were trias. She told
about persuasion paragraph. But, because of the paragraph didn’t full fill the
characters of persuasion paragraph we discussed it again, finally we decided
that trias’ paragraph was explanation paragraph.
Reflection VI
I analyzed
dini’s paragraph in process analyses paragraph. There was no mistake and that’s
good paragraph. I analyzed aci’s paragraph, there was no big mistake, but must
be more careful in punctuation. In argumentative paragraph, I analyzed aida’s
paragraph. I found something missing in aidas’ paragraph. Because aida didn’t
consider the opposition’s argumentation, so it’s better that she added the
information of opposition’s point of view in her paragraph. And the last is
illustration and persuasion paragraph. I analyzed lilis’ paragraph. In her
persuasion paragraph, I thought that lilis’ paragraph was not persuasion.
Because there were not element to convey the reader to do the instruction based
on the paragraph, and I changed the paragraph to be persuasion paragraph by
using the same information. And ther was no problems with her illustration
paragraph. I can understand more by analyzing my friends’ paragraph. We can
improve our writing skill by practice it, because when we just know the theory
but we never practice it, we cannot measure aour ability.
